    7900GTO SLI on P5B Deluxe wifi 965 chipset!



    Killed my AM2 BIOS today so tried SLI on 965... Results not to bad... 0711 bios. CGI on (didn't make a difference) and setting above that to "auto" setting "faster" hangs windows shortly after boot.

    Over 750 ram on the cards hangs right near the end of nature in 03

    not bad at all

    this is with P5WDH + GTX SLi (710/950 IIRC)

    I think the cards were still unmodded (520w limited)

    These 7900GTOs are nice and you can see the tighter GTO timings on the gfx card memory helps quite a lot vs GTX timings (in case you haven't tweaked those any further yourself), of course you take 2x GTOs rather than 1x GTX and also 2x GTOs instead of 1x7950 GX2. Very nice 965 score too. Mother Nature result was rather high imo too.

    IMHO, I would pick a 7950GX2 over 2x GTOs with all the ram issues and everything...

    I think overclokk has put some sick 7950GX2 numbers down

    84.56 modded I think they are. ZERO performance boost in games, minmum fps is LOWER in CS:S at least.
