    Use feature tools (ftool_196.iso), makes the 7K80 HDD parameter changes UP is 3.0GB/s


    support s-ata II is ok!

    As OPB shows some time ago, MSI boards feature one pci-e x16 slot plus one more x2 slot that works ok to run SLI cards.

    but its not the same as 8/8 right? does it work with the latest drivers? i thought nvidia blocked all other attempts to run sli if its not 8/8 in the latest drivers?

    johnny, does it work with the latest drivers as well?
    and how big is the difference between 4/8(?) and 8/8? can you check with another sli board at stock speeds? thx a lot for the infos so far!

    Sayaa you cant use this mobo to run sli with x850xt


    the diference in porformance is not that big, i think in anandtech they did several tests to show the diference. (using a dfi ultra@sli)

    Wow, those Hitachi 7K80 s-ata IIx2 raid0 gives the burst speed of 383.9 MB/sec!? NCQ on too?

    n-Vidia Display Driver version locked SLi model:
    71.XX already to let outside X8/X8 cancel SLI after (even if were SLI CHIPSET)
    66.75 locked ULTRA CHIPSET afterwards
    70.90 locks 16X/2X

    You guys seem so excited about burst speeds. Take it easy - it doesn't really translate into any real-world performance

    Fugger uses them, you can get them at Fry's Electronics retail in the US.
