Me beating head seeking a way of modifying the bios of the NF8-V
After making several tests with bios editors, I didn't obtain success and I finished crouch the bios of my NF8-V.
I was one week without pc, but I didn't give up..
I went at my friend's house and I made hotswap in the bios and I return everything to the normal.
Not wanting more to run risk of being without pc, because I work in him ordered a bios chip (4mb) virgin without anything engraving.
Today of guile the chip arrived and I threw the hand in the mass...
Using him/it WINFLASH snapped the bios of EPOX 8KDA3J, because and the more plate similar to NF8-V (chipset, I/O, Gigalan) identical.
For my surprise the personal computer bounced but it restarted continually.... he/she appeared a very fast message (Don´t turn off or reset system lan mac. Please wait..).
Then I was aware that it was problem in the file that you/they count the data of the net gigabit (NVPXES.NIC) that was not the same of the NF8-V.
Then dexei of side and I went to try to put the bios of LANPARTY UT 250GB in my ABIT NF8-V.
I made that only of persistence to see oque happened, therefore the chip Gigalan and I/O are different from my plate.
And for my surprise the personal computer bounced!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I accessed the bios perfectly, all of the resources this present la (advanced timings of memory / LDT 2.5X / vdim up to 3.1v) and many other options in the menu Genie of the bios..
Already with a smile exploded in the face went more fussar in the bios and everything was perfect.
Only a problem, as the chip I/0 of DFI is ITE, and the one of my NF8 is Winbond already waited algun mistake mainly in the monitoração of voltages and temperature.
And he/she didn't give other, the suitable voltages in the bios are ligeramente higher type (line 12v is with 14,8 - the line of 5v is with 6.7, but alarming because I checked with the multimeter in the plate mother all of the voltages, and them estavan strictly in agreement with the value that me setava in the bios.... fortunately..
Oh I went to make the test practice, he/she enters in the windows and to turn some loves etc..
He/she carried S.O usually, everything was recognized less the net that due to the chip of Gigalan of DFI to be of the ROAD and the one of my NF8 to be Vitesse he/she already waited for some incompatibility..
I made practical tests of over and I got to put the stable sempron for 2.9ghz with cooler box everything for the bios without using any softmod in the windows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mechendo with more calm with certainty will get more over because now this present LDT 2.5X!!! not being more arrested to the limit of HTT.
A blezaaa.
But now I want to edit the bios of DFI substituting the file NVPXES.NIC that is of the net, for the of the bios NF8.
And to discover which is the file in the responsible bios for controller I/O Winbond for also to make the change of the files.
With the program AWDBEDIT 1.0 I get to open the bios and to extract his/her files, more I don't get to substitute the file of the lan for the other.
He ties substitutes more corronpe the image of the bios
Then if somebody has an idea aeew of as I can make that, it already went fexa the bill and raisin the ruler... aUHAuiaHUHHAUHU
If by chance he/she doesn't give right I will use a plate of net same pci and already eraaa!!!!
