    P45 T2RS & E8600 round 2: WR 1M

Second run with me E8600. Single 4870X2 for 3D with Vista so no 2001se for now. Chip runs rather high with low vcore and it likes the cold. Fast board for 1m but 3D could be better. Happy with clocks though. After 3D tried spi again

    Setup:
    DFI P45 T2RS 725
    E8600 Q822A435
    Ballistix PC8500
    8400GS for 2D
    EAH4870X2 3D (830/950)
    PCP&C 1200w

    sweet stuff

is it just me or is that vantage score really low for such a massive overclock ? especially for a 4870 x2 and a 6ghz+cpu ?

Reflash your motherboard with a bios that supports the E8600 for better Pifast/3D/32M action. The unsupported bios speed up 1M, but is terrible for all other applications.
