    Asus 680i, P5N32-E Sli Results.

    got it today.

    things to note...

    1. the voltages are insane for the Vdimm.
all the way to 3.425 volt... or 3.5 if you enable the extra ram voltage.
it does work, and I can confirm it with a pic.

    2. Chipset go all the way to 2.75 volts... but will not boot past 1.6 volts, under any condition.

    3. 1.6 volts from bios max... but with a horrible under rating for the voltage. 1.6 volts gets you 1.47 volts tops. Vcore Mod is needed badly.

    4. seems to perfer D9 ram. my cheaper sets of ram do worse on this board then on my P5B Deluxe.

    5. when breaking 500 FSB, CPU VT voltage is most important.

    7. extremely easy board to make not boot... but it will recover about 2/3rds of the time from a failed OC... thats 2/3rds more then my P5B Deluxe will ever do, haha...

    8. 1200 mhz is extremely easy with this board.

ok, this is the last shot for a few hours, I gotta go meet my grandma, she's sick today and been waiting a few hours for me already.
just got this board today an day early... and I got the next 2 days off.
    I love that.

by the way. 500 FSB... first try.
I know what the CPU can do (E6300 tops out just under 3.9 ghz on air)
so I just went into bios first boot and set it to 500.
didnt really wanna bother dinking around with the low stuff....

anyways, heres 3.5 volts right from bios.

you guys better appreciate the shot too, cause I killed a $40 stick of ram to do this, hahaha....

Sorry about your loss. Nice FSB result even if it not stable.

I dont know if I can get 525 stable.
its really weird. sometimes it's 100% stable.
    sometimes it wont load windows.

    but 500 is verrrrry stable.
    priming it now.

also, 525 might not be stable simply cause of the cooling, I am just testing for now, so it's got the stock intel heatsink and idles at 48C.

as soon as I get home though, no more prime, back to the fun stuff.

looks terrific except for the Vcore... what were they thinking?? 3.50 Vdimm, lol... luckily you put in the $40 stick instead of the $450 set.

you gotta be kidding me,, how could they put this baord out with a 1.6v vcore and yet it only gives 1.47v and yet 3.5v vdimm which will instantaneously kill any kit of ram you do that too.
and chipset voltages that dont even work past 1.6v yet the bios has way higher.

kunnak i hope this is just a sample that you didnt pay for

    yes I bought this board.

    More Notes.

running 1T with this board is exceptionally easy.
I can run 1T up to 900 mhz without much effort, and do it very stable.
I am sure one could do a 1T 1Ghz shot with this board, unstable atleast.

TRC is a nice fast way to increase your Super Pi Score with this board.

AI Boost, does not work for this board...

Ntune does not work for this board either, since this board uses a non Nvidia standard bios, and instead uses the usual "Asus" looking bios.

nothing I know of, will show cas, or ram MHZ... or dividers.

    Currently playing around at...

Cas 4-4-3-8-1T, TRC-3, TREF 1. all others at Auto.

take Tref to Auto, and TRC to Auto, and this is stable.
well, as stable as one can call something after 2-3 hours of testing.

This Board severly needs 2 mods.

    Vcore, and Vchip.

if your really extreme and searching for alot of FSB, then find a way to do a "CPU VTT" Mod... if you can figure that out.
for me, that was the most drastic way to increase stability past 500.

will post pics and such later, including all the fun BIOS Shots.
still waiting for camera battery to recharge.

3.5V for RAM but low vcore is indeed retarded...

500 FSB off the bat is damn nice though

I have found a couple of online store that say they have the P5N32-E SLI in stock and I'm about 24 hours away from hitting the "Buy" button.

I'd hate to fry my cpu and memory let alone a new motherboard. I have only what I would call an uneducated guess for the max voltages. I know that I sure could use some advice on that subject.

I highly doubt that is vdroop being that much of a difference. It has to be some type of bug.
