Nvidia presented purevideo a while ago and it seems purevideos power is directly linked to the core speed of the GPU.
where Avivos power is linked to the pipe/alu count in the GPU.

this means that a 6600GT is able todo 1080P
    a 6200 is already able todo 720P

so i would wanna know if this 7300GT is able todo 720P like the 6200 wich it is replacing or 1080P.

either way a good competitor to the X1300 wich can max do 480P/576P.
now hope its price is nice and its power usage is also ok cause i like the low power usage of the X1300 is u see its features.

We have gotten some information of the GeForce 7300GT meant to replace 6200 series and compete against X1300 will feature 8 pipelines. It is clocked at 350MHz core, 666MHz memory on 128-bit interface. The 3DMark05 score is around 3K and expected availability is around April period.
8 pipelines for budget? very nice.
    April? still a long way

Why in the world cant they give a 256bit interface.. Budget cards REALLY need to upgrade toa 256bit bus. It has been appx 3 years now since the release of the 9700 with the 256bit bus and even still the budget cards are running on 128bit.

ya if it comes in april and the 7900 comes in march as some sources say i think nvidia will leave ATI alot fo time to sell of a good bunch of X1900s.

im shure some manufacturers wil make 8 pipe GTs with 64 bit

because fast (in terms of clock speed) 128bit ram is cheaper, and easier to sell videocards with fast clocked RAM.

Maybe 100 series will have 64-bit bus ?

it will be the highest end graphics card that users can buy for their AGP platform
So it should outperform X850XT PE

‘cos 256 mem ctrl requires more transistors, and needs complex pcb! Both of those things are imply higher cost!

man it will 0wn the x850xt PE.
    it roxx the w0rld.

meh its just the usual pure PR BS.
like each time ATi and Nvidia send/leak out info about their new card they automaticle include at the bottom:

it will be the highest end graphics card that users can buy .....

about the pics of the card:
common you cant tell me that this fan si cheaper then a slightly bigger heatsink to passivly cool it.

on the other pages they r talking bout the 7300GT, GS and LE (wanna bet the LE is the uber 64 bit version)
it will have 2.8NS ram for what speed is that rated?

This thing doesn't look like it has a sli connector at the top of the card. So for anyone that wanted sli proformance out of these cards will be SOL.
