New ram arrived today, so I did some work on my neo2 platinum.
The capacitors on the output side of the vcore mosfets were not soldered in very well on my board, they had about an 8 degree tilt to them since one leg was soldered in way farther than the other. I got them all straightened out pretty much, but didnt have any spare caps to add to them...
Side effect?
I added 100mhz to my cpu's top speed (0444 cbbhd winchester)(was 2600mhz @ 1.65v load 1.61v idle before, now running 2700mhz @ 1.69v load 1.64v idle).
Thats pretty good for just straightening out the capacitors if you ask me![]()
now to get my 2x512 tccd to play nice past ~265mhz...
