It seems that ur Board can give u a bit more voltage then my one. Maybe i have 1,85V with Multimeter too, but only a few ppl read the voltage with it, so it not count.
But try this settings one time with 1,475V, i'm sure u get the same voltage.

Since when you guys trust voltage readings from soft instead of multimeter ??

EDIT Why would I have to try it with 1.475v? Who cares ? 1.475v + 18.3v is 1.75v .... If one needs more, then one goes for 1.55v + 18.3%... simple as that

Hehe, i think i was always to lazy to read it with multimeter ... Read Vdimm thousand times with it, but never thought about the Vcore :p

    Edit: Thats with 1,475V + 18,3% .. Maybe now u know what i mean!?

@Vcore Bug : If ur pc is off and u turn it on and boot into windows without going into the bios, u have an higher voltage, but if u go into bios before, the vcore drops down to his "normal" spot! Same if u make an restart.

Hmm... Seems like our boards behave differently then.
I just played with it and I don't experience anything like that.
At 1.55v + 10% after I turn off PC and then turn it on I get 1.67v with multimeter. If I go to BIOS or not I stll get 1.67v. Once it gets into Windows and I put some LOAD on it it goes up to 1.69v.
After I use CoreCenter to raise it to 1.75v I get 1.74v under LOAD with multimeter.
When I reset my PC I get 1.67v again...

I rarely look at BIOS and CPU-Z voltage readings... Even less often at MBM readings which are totally screwed up...

I know lot of ppl with this "bug", but anyway the Neo2 is a strange mobo.

My problem is that th 1.36b BIOS at the highest voltage setting of 18.3+% should be giving me full 1.85v, but its NOT. Its giving me like 1.75v and sometimes goes up to 1.80v.
It seems that the thread-starter have the same "bug". Maybe it's really an prob. of the 1.36b.

Sorry to be a tad off topic, but how much cap-bending was required to fit that XP120 on your Neo2? (that is.. if it is an XP120...)

I've heard so many mixed stories, but i'm hoping to pick one up either tomorrow or on monday to put on my Neo2.

Just read again through the info I posted here...

You can get more than 1.75v with ANY BIOS. Although, only 1.36b gives you that selection from BIOS screen. With any other BIOS you just need to set voltage to 1.55v + 10% and boot to Windows. From there open up MSI CoreCenter and raise it further... 1.80v or 1.85v...

    Hey bachus_anonym,

Thanks for clarifying this. Last time I tried to stay with the 1.36 bios for the higher Vcore... but couldn't get my Winchester stable under the cold.

I've got a new board and cpu on order. I'm going to try the 1.5X bios and now I understand how to get more Vcore.

All I need is for my Winchester to like the cold...
