Suggestions to get OCZ PC3200 Gold past 240Mhz
Hello once again.
It seems my previous thread has been moved or deleted. Yes, I have looked at the guides and tried various A64 tweaker configurations as seen in various screenshots.
And, I have recently finished 12hr+ of memtest86 test#5 loop @245Mhz with 3.5V, @240Mhz with 3.3V, and another 20-30hrs of memtest and prime95 over the weekend.
Burn-in has not worked for me (please explain if perhaps I did something wrong). I was able to gain 1 extra Mhz by switching the DIMM's. Also about 1-2Mhz by re-positioning the 80mm fan I'm using to cool the OCZ DDR Booster and the DIMMs, when using 3.5V setting.. otherwise negligible effect.
I'm using 2x512MB OCZ PC3200 Gold Edition, (as seen in A64 tweaker) 2-8-12-2-2-7-2-2-2-1 with tref 200Mhz 7.8us
24/7: A64 3000+ (\_/) @2.4Ghz, 1.4V
1 GB OCZ Gold (='.'=) 240 2-2-2-5
Giga-byte NF3 (")_(") K8NSC-939
XFX 6800 16/6 NV5 @420/936, 1.33V
