Cool!!! Thanx for the heads up N8

Btw, have you tried using the Live update off the cd? I can't seem to get it to work correctly. The active x controls on the page don't load, and I've enabled all active x controls in the properties.

    LiveUpdate for BIOS?

Not 4 me, sounds like an accident waiting to happen

Conventional BIOS flashing methods typically keep it simple & painless

Does msi have any kinda flash utility? I've only flashed two bios's in the past, and both (a Asus and a Dell) had a some kindof flash utility that was loaded onto the same floppy as the new bios.

I just extract the files out of the exe that you download right to C:\

Then I boot to DOS w/ a bootable floppy. www.bootdisk.com if you don't have a Win9X box to make 1 on.

Then i type in what would be "awfl820 w6501kms.160 /sn/py/cc/cp/f" in this particular case @ the C:\ prompt.

    Voila

P.S. Don't flash while OC'd & be sure to reset to optimized defaults after, then set up the BIOS as you would

Cool, I'll give it a go later when I've had a few drinks and have bigger balls than I do right now

Flashing BIOS while intoxicated is against the law in 52 of the 50 United States & will result in early termination of your warranty.

    Don't say I didn't warn you, hehehe :p
