Frustrated by ADATA... Which one to go then?

    I owned a pair of ADATA DDR400 BH-5 512MB and a pair of ADATA DDR566 512MB, both don't work right in my K8N NEO2 Platinum...
So now I would like to ask which brand should I choose so that I can enjoy my A64 overclock...

oh I see, but which model should I get? Coz I know that the DDR600 1024MB Dual Pack only runs at 2T, which is a huge performance hit... While for DDR550 one, it can run at 1T.
So which one should I choose?

Only if you´re running it at DDR600....

I´ve had 2x512mb A-Data DDR600 and I´m currently running A-Data DDR566....the biggest differens is that with 566 you will get TCCD chip...but with 600 you can get either TCCD or HYNIX wich usually requires higher voltage to get the same bandwidth as TCCD.

I could run my 600 at 2.5-3-3-8 1T 285mhz 2.9v...memtest#5 for hours...anything above that I got instability with 1T...also they didn´t respond to higher voltage.
With my 566 I´m currently at 2.5-3-4-5 1T 280mhz 2.7v...same stabbility....and still pushing it. As you can se with these sticks I have to run TRP at 4...they refuse to run at 3, at anything above 270.. no matter what voltage I use.

Welcome to Xtreme Systems waiho2k1 if no one as welcomed you yet. And if they have, well here is another welcome

bh5 doenst work on alot of the neo2 boards... its pretty common knowledge.. TCCD seems to be the memroy that works best on this board, although some ppl have had alot of luck with bh5 and he neo2. It is kinda hit and miss.

    Thanks a lot
I know many people with luck using BH-5 (can go as high as 260+) with DDR Booster. I also have the booster but even with 3.3V the ram isn't stable at 210MHz... When I was using nForce2, it can reach 245MHz @ 3.2V...
