How much difference will I see in temperature if I ran a TEC at 12V oppose to 15.2V?

i use to see a difference of only a few deg's
ideal volts is about 13.5, by increasing the volts also increase the heat being created, sometimes rads can handle the heat, i use to run mine at 9.22v, what size tec you talking about (i was using a 226w)

The problem lies more on block efficieny, is able to take additionl heat load? Then we get rads (as kayl rightly mentioned). They must be large enough and with good enough air flow to dissipate all the heat. If you get it right you gonna be rewarded with good temps d00d

exactly as both said. I forked out the cash on a monster psu had 5 lines a 24volt dual 15volt and dual 5volt lines. the 24 and 15's were rated at 25amps. I was like YES THERE IS A PSU GOD!! I installed the puppy on my vc tec and cpu tec giving them thier fully deserved voltage and amps. only to find out my water temps rose accordingly to the higher heatload so my actual net result to the processors was 5-10c HIGHER I was totally bummed by it all I stopped tec'n altogether and I'm now running straight water and enjoying my comp again.

BUT dont count me out hehe I'll be BACH

I found a PSU I might get it, the model numer is SPS-9400. It has adjustable voltage 3-15V and an available 40A at any voltage. Cheapest I found one was for $160.

I got my Weir 650 in the same way (£1 + postage) but it does not have los of juice on 12v lines. 5v line has 60amps though . The funniest thing about it is that without loading 5v rail there is no juice on 12v lines!
