so, can I consider this as a "good" imc? it can do both 2700 8-12-8 PI 32m(Maximus VI Impact) and 3200 memtest(Z87M OC Formula)

I failed to pass PI 32m with Z87M OC Formula @2666 8 12 8 with no matter what voltage but successfully done that on Maximus VI Impact, is this impacted by imc?
Board shouldn't matter if. . .
hardware and all settings were the same, (primary's, seconds & thirds, voltages etc. . .), but remember you have to tune each board differently. In my case swapping the order of the sticks can mean the difference between running 32M and not even training so I try to label everything.
And what a unique kit of ram, it's not everyday you see that type of quality ic in the wild
Congrats on the killer cpu, low voltage for 5Ghz and killer IMC, i'm sure with cold on the memory you have a prime candidate for a 2800 c6 run
tks for your reply, I tried to change ram order and adjust some of the voltage for psc, but most of time I can't pass even training(with same g.skill pi psc kit I can pass 32m on Maximus VI Impact)....some of my friends just load OC Formula mb presetting can finish pi 32m... it's weird

would you mind sharing the psc air basic setting on Z87 OC Formula
this bord is alredy avaliable in usa or europe??

Well Nick i just bought it i prefeered it over the others same as i did for the MEM OC and the CPU low volts compared, So you saying it will be not so good as the Z87M OC Formula ? I dont use LN2 just water AIO for CPU delided and mem on air, Have som GeIL 3000 MFR and some others 2933 to Test
Tell me your opinion
Thanks !

this can do both 2666 with psc and 2800 with samsung on Maximus VI Impact.. but failed to do 2666 with psc on OC Formula.. what's the key factor
this board still not avaliable in my country

there are electrical differences between boards as well as the settings that arent exposed to the end user. what you should do is load up 2400 and see which board is faster with the exact same settings, im willing to bet its the ocf, and its faster because the things you cant see are set a little tighter to make it more efficient.
Current Status - Testing & Research
Hi guys,Ive done some real quick memory tests on the Z97 OC Formula today, memory was on Air all tests were @ 1.88v PSC
Thanks to Nick for the sample, also to Splave and Loud
Will test with ln2 soon
Some 32m stability testing
Also did a quick test on trcd and seems we can run PSC trcd 11 now on air, really good sign
Did a quick boot in,memory still on air

Thanks guys, these memory's used were 2000 pis cl6 loud, the 2300 cl8 prob do the same but require bit more volts, these memory's are untested on ln2.
but ocf cannot go 2600+ so i cannot compare with other borads
I see you guys with TCWL 6 @ 2666+ under air cooling and is impressive, i've never found the combination IMC/DRAM to do that.
Still oos @ neweeg...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157502
why this board is more cheap than Z87 OC formula??
low quality componentes?? or what??
