I have issues with my Logitech Illuminated keyboard and MVF .
When i plug the USB keyboard , the bios recognizes it as 1 keyboard + 1 mouse . That totally makes 1 keyboard and 2 mice when i have the mouse connected.
As a result , i can't enter bios when i use IDE mode . I press many times (dozens) the del key but i can never manage to enter bios . Only way is to remove any bootable devices (hdd & usb) .
On raid mode it works OK , as it takes a longer time to boot .
Also , Raja can you please check that the RTL values are on par with the values GeneV applies when using PSC sticks ? More specific i want to know what values the Gene sets when using 108.7 BCLK and rams at 2608 with CL8-12-8-28 .
I have a feeling that Formula is slower than Gene but i can't have a Gene to test . I can't match my old 5ghz low clock times . Till loop 12 it's fast , but after that it gets slow and as a result it's around 0.3secs slower . I reinstalled the OS with no changes.
The RTL values are auto sensed (not applied by us), so there should be no differences in scores due this (RTL). For me the boards are identical, so not sure what is happening for you. The issue likely lies elsewhere on your setup of UEFI or the OS. Nothing else I can add to that.
As for the Logitech keyboard these can be tricky with UEFI. But, I think your issue is fast BOOT, so you are not managing to press Del in time. The window of timing is very small and you have to catch it in time. Not sure if HQ is going to change that now, maybe ask Shammy to add a delay if you want to.

Awesome board. The newest BIOS made a big difference. I was able to get to 5GHz on my 2700k when I couldn't before using the stock BIOS and with my Asrock board.

Actually still have a 55 problem here, however I think I root cause is by my CPU(s) somehow. I did a few quick tests with different mounting pressures and that doesn't appear to have any effect. I changed out every part of the system multiple times ( memory, PSUs, GPU...) - and have this issue across 2 different Maximus boards that were both confirmed good.
At this point I suspect that one of my CPU has a bad IMC that somehow alters the settings /readings of voltages on the board/bios.
Finally figured out 100% what was causing my 55 issues - Bad bracket mounting of my Thermalright Ultra 120 cooler.
I had installed the back plate of the Ultra 120 in the wrong direction - and with the screws of the LGA ILM sticking out only at one side uneven mounting pressure created bad contact to the CPU
Proper install:
The cutouts on the back-plate line up with the screws from ILM
Side view:
My sloppy install causing 55 by not aligning back plate with ILM:
Side view showing the uneven mounting:

you need a pair of these to trim those wires sticking up
http://www.zeph.com/flushcutters-she...-shortnose.htm
-and I think you have the wrong back plate ,or you missed some spacers that go in between the bracket ends and the mb to stop it from touching the socket back plate , you can't leave it mounted like that IMO bending at the ends.
-my 370 back plate does not touch the socket back plate as it fits around it ,with a rubber pad between the back plate and mb

I have to agree with koei, the new bios is awesome!!!
Same as koei my 2700k barely broke 4.8Ghz on my Sabertooth Z77 but on the Maximus V I hit 4.9 stable on Auto...and eventually 5.0 on manual.

is the liquid cooling needed to cool the pwm, and is it viable or really high resistance?

I found the water pipe really too small for my loop , so what I did was to place a metal tee just after the last gpu in my loop [before heading down stairs to the rads] tube go's from the tee[3/8"] into the in let by the top gpu , the outlet [top] into 3\8" tube runs just out of the case into a Y [same down tube] before the QDC,
-that way it ends up in parallel so no flow loss , don't expect much flow into it , but it won't take much 20c water to cool it better than air only.
-is it need , don't know but even if it only pick's up 50-90 watts of heat and moves that out of my office that's fine by me.

I just got the M5E and extremely disappointed/annoyed that the $400+ motherboard is missing such accessories as thermal probes and VGA hotwire cables. AFAIK, the M4E included at least the thermal probes... I mean, it's a premium mobo, why not include such dime items with it
