Here's mine for now.... not sure why my score is so much lower than some similarly-clocked ones unless it's my CPU (2600K @ 4.2ghz currently, been having issues getting it back to 4.8 like it used to run once I swapped my P8P67 Pro out for the B3 revision during the recall of the originals). Happy as a pig though with this thing, BF3 stable as well for an hour of play at these speeds/volts. Also have HQ AF enabled in the CCC.

    Unpacked it earlier:

Maxing at about 70c so far during BF3 sessions.

Max overclock on stock voltage (stable) on my Gigabyte 7970 is 1075 mhz

1125 worked fine in most games but I was getting minor flickering textures in The Witcher 2, so not fully stable. Will mess around with voltages tomorrow.

Yeah, SWTOR gave me minor issues so I'm re-doing my OC. So far at 1.187v (just a hair above stock) with 1120c/1550m auto-fan 100% stable for TOR and some BF3 & glitch-free including OCCT. I'll be giving it a more thorough workout tomorrow to make sure though.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the card above 1.17V consistently? Mine doesn't seem so much like Vdroop as it's actively being taken down. Any utility I use, be it MSI AB, Trixx, or GPU Tweak w/ ASUS BIOS all have the same effect - the program will say I'm at 1.175V stock, and the sliders go up to 1.3V, but this is actual voltage of 1.112V, and will max out at 1.17V (stock). Sometimes as soon as I apply 1.3V in AB, the card will set the voltage appropriately, but then it'll immediately come down to ~1.2V then settle to 1.17V over the next 30 seconds or so. Powerplay is disabled where appropriate, AMD Overdrive is either set to +20%, off, or not even accessed/installed. Any thoughts? I'm doing 1150MHz on stock volts no sweat, I just would like to push this thing since it's on water .

Vdrop Your card is fine, you have to deal with this voltage; 1,3v(AB)= 1.21v(real) is good to 1300mhz.

Thanks for the reply. Did anyone find the read points for a multimeter yet? I'll test and see. Mine is not at 1.21V according to MSI AB (always goes back to ~1.17V), and the nature of it taking over a minute to get back there almost seems like it's being filtered/restricted somewhere. Vdroop on a CPU at least is more conistent and stable. It's very odd. The other thing is applying voltage isn't really boosting my overclock at all.

Mine seems to be behaving like vdroop and does give me better clocks, find my screenshot and you will see vgpu drops when the loads hit and rise again between tests.

Yeah, mine is setting to 1.279 during idle 3d even when set on 1.3v in afterburner, dropping/drooping to 1.187-1.2v during load... wonder if there will be a way to push that higher soon? Thermals won't allow me on stock but curious.

EDIT: It's actually bouncing between 1.173 and 1.22v during OCCT testing when set to 1.3 in afterburner.

    So far it's hard-mod only.

Seems pretty common. I see lots of reports from people using afterburner, setting 1.3V and only getting 1.21'ish under load. I haven't tested that but my card isn't installed presently. Tearing down the rig to insulate it for taking the CPU cold next Monday. Don't have a GPU pot, but I'm going to give the 7970 all the horsepower behind it my CPU can muster.

From my (faulty) memory, I think it's 1.175V.

The card wont down clock the memory when in the desktop after overclocking, this makes the card idle at a higher temp, anyone else? Oh im using 3 screens, is that normal?

^yes, for years gpus have used different clock rates when running more than one screen. try unplugging 2 and see if it does drop down for you, it might be the exact cause, or just a factor

Is there info on this somewhere here?

I want to know what volts the Sapphire water cooled card runs if the rumoured 1335 factory core clock is true !!!

Card came today. Just installed it, ran a couple benches at default clocks. Very strong card! very nice looking card! gives me a chubby every time I look over at the rig.

I dont care much for the Asus oc software, links vgpu and core clock? Dont see a way to set them seperately, maybe Im missing something. Im using the latest afterburner now, I got the Asus card, but I guess I still have top flash the card to get clocks higher?

^IDK, I need to flash the bios to go any higher. 1125mhz is tops for this bios, but passes Vantage at 1125mhz stock vgpu.

This card already has the bios posted in the first page of the thread. So noob question. How are you guys getting the core clocks higher than 1125?

Can unlink them in advanced settings, one of the three buttons on the bottom left. Took me way longer than I'd like to admit to figure that out

Use "Unofficial Overclocking Mode" in MSI Afterburner (enabled via the config file).

I posted a thread over at Guru3D and Unwinder responded: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread....98#post4216598 . He says the AB is working as intended and the sensors are just off. It still doesn't explain why adding Vcore adds little to no overclocking headroom, maybe it's a temp thing or I just have a bum chip . Anyway, doesn't seem like there's an issue. It would be nice if someone wanted to do the vGPU read mod and confirm with a multimeter.
