    Future Overclock

We are still looking for those responsible for this overclock and its precarious placement. If you have any information we are considering a reward.

1> Note that later in the episode Bender is stuffing more processors in himself. Thus a multi-socketed Athlon II platform exists in the future! Not only that, but it's also the long sought after server platform from AMD with robust overclocking features. No more pestering JF about this guys, we have the launch date - 2999. (Bender notes his circuitry is "12 years out of date".)

2> Dicing up the liquid oxygen chamber of a V2 rocket wouldn't look quite so clean as depicted in the cartoon.

Does this mean I have to buy an Intel Rig now?

Edit: I was thinking , if this baby was powered by AMD Opterons.. You'd have saved money on chips plus saved on power....

I thought the whole thing was funny. I used to watch that show all the time.
I really got a kick out of the line about “deleting 12 TB of outdated catch phrases”.

Anyway my take on it was that Bender being a robot with an AMD processor was adaptable and because of AMD’s ability to overclock made him capable of running much faster if need be. The location of the processor may appear as being an insult but think about it for a moment? The bottom end of Bender may be the safest location after all isn’t that where some of the most important parts are normally located?
