Question Vista Ultimate or Win 7 Pro for SB?

I forgot I had bought Vista Ultimate a while back and just recently found it. Is there any reasons to move into Windows 7 Pro. I am planning on building a SB 1155 system with the 2600K CPU depending on when the Sandforce 2000/C400 SSD drives start to come out. I will run 64 bit in either.

    Any and all advice appreciated.

    THANKS!

not a technical comment, but i hated Vista very much that i went back to XP till 7 was out, i feel 7 is much faster while Vista is like a big old fat lady putting up makeup trying to look nice beside some cheerleaders

I love the comparison (LOL!) and that is exactly what I needed to hear.

Can I use Win 7 Pro OEM on my computer and my kids' computer at home if I build them?

As was mentioned in your other thread. For legality each install requires a separate licence.

Linux is free. It sucks for the majority of games but is awesome in every other respect. What's more vulnerabilities are fixed as soon as they are discovered. You don't have to wait a month or longer for critical flaws to be patched.

Quantum theory in a nutshell: It's so small we don't know where it is, it could be here, it could be there.

Just 'cos it's legal don't make it right.

Win 7 Pro is a better choice using the 64 bit version on SSD`s.
