2/1=ddr2,1.5/1=ddr3
Actually I believe Tony's testing pretty much proved that the stock NB was fine for everything up to 1066, 2400+ for 1200+ DDR2 then scaling just stopped...
I suppose the number is 1.5:1 for DDR3 because it's almost impossible to achieve 2:1...but that doesn't necessarily mean scaling stops.

@darkdiggler:
Did you enable LLC (CPU and NB)? Because, your high FSB could be reached by LLC. You should better deactivate it.
So im running my NB at 2500 on a K8 chip with 800mhz ram
Is there any point? Not near my rig to test so i will wait and see what people think until i can get back after the new year.
I clocked my 1100T at 4.2 GHZ at 66 C on water cooling with no problem yesterday. Stayed stable for an hour of it. I don't know what you're having a problem with here.
