    Intel Solid-State Experience @ TR - Win X25-M SSD's

    Today, Intel is launching a contest where they are giving away five kits, each including an Intel 80GB X25-M and a 2GB Flash Drive! The contest will run until the end of the month.

    That's strange. 4k random on my x25m 80gb reads @ 28mb/s and writes @ 58mb/s.

    Some not all but I hate and I mean HATE "jump thru the hoops" contests.
    Nothing personal,just the way I am..
    Oh yea, that SSD is on my "to buy" list and I still won't do it!

    As to old, yup, feeling my age lately,sucks, 59 coming soon..BUT..
    I'd still give you a run for your money for 3-5 minutes..

    after that I'd better have a cardiac unit with O2 very close by!
