Give Electronic circuit analysis and design by Donald Neamen a shot. If not the paperback, then buy an ebook. We used it 6 semesters while in engineering from second to final year. Brilliant book for fundamentals of electronics and circuit designs.

You will want to move onto some other book, but if you are starting off, this is one of the better ones as it covers theory well. So it helps in understanding of the concepts and design steps.
