    AMD 785G is here!

I was thinking I was going to have to wait until the end of next month for this board to show up. Happened to find it today on Newegg.com.

Gigabyte is first vendor to have it ready .

    HD4200 if I'm not mistaken.

The IGP is NOT faster than the older HD3300, but only due to stock clock frequency. Clock per clock, it's again faster.

What's up with the 4 phase power and no mosfet cooling? Or am I missing something?

I decided to put a hold on my order and not be the guinea pig, one that can speak about it anyways. According to a person at avsforum the drivers are not anywhere near ready at this point in time.

What drivers? SB710 has been out for a while, and the new northbridge only brings the new IGP.

Well not all of his posts are like that. However, I am pretty fed up with the utterly useless posts that serve no purpose other than making him feel good. This by far was the worse. Sure there have been plenty of occasions where he has done this but there has been something useful in it.

In this case, we know the NDA so it's not that bad.

while this is very true at this level of performance what difference does it really make. all three of them can't run most games made with in 2 years at playable frames anyways so the advantage is somewhat of a moot point.

According to Anand HD4200 on that Giga board clocked easily to 1.1GHz on AIR.
I have a feeling we will see a nice 700MHz+ GX795 in not too distant future.
I also would like more shaders, but I think AMD is saving that move for FUSION CPU's...
