Bios used was shipping bios, which seemed to be newer than the one offered on DFis own website. After I flashed to the bios on the DFI page, the Vdroop control feature was gone, so I re-flashed the other bios (09 something).
Might want to try another BIOS. 10/07 I used for the screenshots doesn't appear to have the issue. I do have VDROOP set to "Disabled" but that was a mistake on my part. I was doing some other testing and forgot to change it back to "Enabled" when I did those benches.

I now have the 10/30 BIOS loaded and VCORE is fine with it when both EIST and C1E are "Enabled" regardless of VDROOP setting.

How hard was it to achieve that stability Praz?

I was told 600FSB on air is easy, I would like to see what dream world that is true in.

If it wasn't for having to manually set FSB Vref I'd say real easy. Just too many choices there if the user doesn't have an idea where to start at. I haven't tried any higher FSB. Will do so in the next day or so. As to how easy 600 FSB is most likely depends on star alignment and a few other mystic powers. lol.

Nice. Will update bios once the rig is back from reviewing, right now it's busy kicking butt and conquering the PC World Toplist

Thanks ZoLKoRn. For what this board is this is probably the sweet spot for it. Maybe bump the memory divider up if one has memory that will run 1200MHz.

    Nice results again Praz

btw. please try timing auto for sub-timing and only setting for main timing(5-5-5-15) i think you'll met better performance over custom setting on sub-timing

Very nice results Praz...i'm getting there myself...4.2GHz is perfectly stable for me, struggling to get 4.3GHz good for 24/7...might wait until I setup my h2O.

Possible to get screenshots or a list of all voltages set to hit 550x8? I wanna make sure I'm not missing out on something with the board so I can figure out if it's voltages/settings with the mobo or CPU holding me back.

Thanks. All voltages are shown in the BIOS screenshots and are also listed in the BIOS template.

And now with those settings in hand I'm benchmarking @ 4.4GHz on air...thank you so much!

All that's left is to setup a 120.2 loop for the CPU and push for that little bit more.

Good to hear. I've manage to bump thing up a bit more. The board is real close to setting a new standard for 24/7 use.

That's what I'm gonna have to wait for, I'm investing a lot of time in my Silverstone TJ08 mATX case. Sort of a good thing because my the time there are decent mATX boards on the market the chipset has usually matured a decent amount and I won't be stuck as a guinea pig.

awesome news "DFI x58 Core i7 mATX" seems like DFI is the only company bringing mATX to X T R E M E, i wish ASUS Gigabyte and others will pick up the idea for some serious competition "where is the ROG mATX? " do they think all gamers like 24 inches tall cases?. in my opinion DFI Lanparty JR P45T2RS is for now at the top of the list for Lanbox.
