HaVENt tested with quads as of yet, I only have a 8500 wolfie cpu to test.......intel are notorious for being tight and not sending out samples to people such as myself!

DFI and myself are working hard on the p45 dk T3RS as of this moment in time, so I have not had much of a chance to get up to speed with the 790chipset. Will find out today and let you know!

Didn't know that DFI had an office in the Netherlands? It's extremely difficult to get a DFI mobo in the Netherlands, let alone a new model. There's one shop in whole of Holand who sells DFI. And the choice is limited to the X38 LT and the ICFX-3200, that's it! just those two.
Hell, you can't even get an AMD board, only intel.
I'm really surprised that your getting the DK X48 plus from DFI NL.

Non plus has changed alot with the new bios, in addition the non plus oc results can be fixed by messing with the cpu clock skews

Mate i actually work for a college in the uk, but after winning the abit uk oc championship of 2006 along with johnny bravo, I got into m/b design, my speciality is thermal design and board layout.

The design that was going to be used for the abit x48 max was based apon my feedback.

Whilst I do not WORK FOR DFI I work with them, in the interest of pushing technology forward.

The DFI abs was in a small way part my idea in addition to the removable Northbridge on the t2rsb+. DFI in no way pay me any monies at all, as I wish to keep my objective view. However on the boards that I have had little or no influence upon I review (I Cannot exactly review a board I have worked upon can I?). I work with DFI; my function is to continuously push DFI to think in creative ways to improve their boards, with creative ideas of my own. As a rewards DFI afford me with some trust such as design specs, being able to participate with Oscar and Jarry etc

So in essence the improvement of the x48t2rsb+ is in part based upon my feedback and adVice given to DFI (ABOUT being able to remove the MCH block without removing the PWM blocks as well)

So in essence I openly admit there is a connection between myself and DFI, but rather its a connection that has been earned!

So in essence any DFI info that does not go against my NDA with DFI I will be happy to share and help anyone here!

As far as I am aware DFI have dropped the Nvidia 790 board (intel version) due to too many issues with the nvidia chipset!
