    Motherboard PCI Slot Removal

I have a DFI LANParty NF680i LT and I want to remove the UV Orange PCI slot covers and put them on my ASUS P5E3 Deluxe. How should I go about doing this?

    short answer - unsolder them

Real answer - this will be insanely difficult to do. The amount of solder work involved will be beyond tedious. Why not just get some orange UV spray paint and colour them in?

I was hoping that there would be an even lazier way of doing it. I was hoping to just pop them off and swap 'em.

Jigsaw i tryed this on a old mobo and it worked. However i wouldent try it on a mobo you care about because it took some work to get them off and its very easy to wreck your mobo, Just use paint its easyer and safer.

If you can be careful about it, I might try to just pop'em and swap'em. You could also just paint them as suggested. That might be the best way to go. Actually I just wanted to say pop'em and swap'em, so don't pay attention to that part.

Hahaha! Thanks guys, I think I will leave the PCI slots alone on my P5E3 Deluxe unless it is to paint them.
