    Lightsmark 2007

Cool new bench. My Dad was running it and showed me. I think it's CPU reliant but I'm not sure.

    Here's a link.

    http://dee.cz/lightsmark/

    And my result @ 1680x1050, 3600+ @ 3.1GHz. 2GB Ballistix Tracers @ 900 or so, 2900 XT @ stock. Vista Home Prem. 32-Bit

EDIT: OK so I think it's CPU reliant but GPU reliant to a point as well. 1680x1050 gave the result below. 1024x768 got 85.4 FPS, and 640x480 got 104.6 FPS. Regardless, it's a cool short bench and the song that plays during it is awesome.

This benchmark doesn't give me an option for 1680x1050 so I did 1920x1080

Ok fellas not here to start a war but....

    Crossfire system

    gigabyte x38 mb
q6600 go cpu at 4 gig
    2x sapphire 2900xt stock clocks
    2x1024 crucial

    Sli system

    evga 680i mb
    x6800 extreme at 4 gig
    2xbfg gtx stock clocks
    2x1024 crucial

First pic single 2900xt 1280x1024. Tried crossfire with no improvment.

    Second pic single gtx.1680x1050

    Third pic gtx in 1280x1024.

fourth pic of my 2 rigs

Nvidia owns this one. Check the res on the ati card. For some reason i could not get it to run higher. Sorry i did not notice the res on the sli run. Sli is not working for me on this benchmark.

    single 2900xt= 120.2fps 1280x1024
    single gtx= 446.3fps 1280x1024
    single gtx= 388.9fps 1680x1050

Severance, What clocks are you running on the gtx ?

I'm on a single card so sli may not be working either.

1280x1024 should be the standard, not everyone has higher resolution.

its not cpu reliant at all

all @1280X1024 which is the max my LCD does

i removed the oc on the GPU to make sure everything was fair and there would be now bad oc results. also the multi was changed in windows so no reboot or anything in between. pretty definative imho
