laing pump question

Hello,
I just began leak testing my loop and its been going for about 6 hours now and every once and awhile iv been checking up on it and theres something that concerns me. On the very bottom of the laing pump i bought with Petra's top, there seems to be a lot of heat coming from the very bottom of the pump. I was wondering if this was normal. I was going to use the gel block on the button of the pump to kill vibration, but I don't wanna trap the heat and kill the pump. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I had the same question a few days ago, and the result was, NORMAL, don't stress over it.

Yeah, don't worry about it. They are going to create a little heat. No biggie.
