what are you're subtimings. I think you can get that time down a bit more.
start @ 4-4-4-4-5-35 and come down 30, 25 and see if you can do 20. I gained quite a bit from playing with subtimings. plus, i dont think you should be afraid to give the ram 2.2v or 2.3v as long as you have a fan over them.

I don't know what to think about this 32M, because I've ran 32M (from start to end) only ONCE (it takes sooo long) .
A little hint: don't run Windows in Safe Mode, this option is slower than normal boot (with killed processes etc).
Well, OK, we can post results in 32M and 16M too (atleast I can, because I have these ).

BTW, air cooling

What were your previous 32m times? try this one @ 1m for comparison. I think i may need to try some subtimings like that. brbOriginally Posted by CaNNibaL

OK, finally sub-14
No more 1M for me (for some time of course), I'm deleting partition with Windows on which I did that, I need some rest .
I know that menlatin has 0,001s lower but I have no motivation this time .
Milestone finally achieved and I'm satisfied with it .
Next maybe I will do some 16M or 32M, I don't know now.
Aircooling (but hmm... xtreme) , maybe I will post some pictures soon .

Thx .
Upgraded Your result lately (this 13.922)?
You have, in fact: better CPU (not 100% sure because mobo is veeery unstable even with 513x6 so the CPU maybe can go higher), better mobo, better cooling and I have maybe a little better RAM (I really don't know why it was 4-4-4-4 and not 4-4-3-4 as usual, the reason is that the day before I flashed BIOS a couple of times to test how fast every BIOS is (well, 0507 couldn't boot @ 510 FSB, 0614 was nothing special too, back to 0804) and not very carefully re-set the RAM settings) and some tweaks (definitely not the best possible but it was enough for me this time) so You should have better result and it is not annoying me in any case .
It was 4+ hours testing some strange settings in Windows and it was worth it but I don't want to spend more time on it (and I don't know what else to change in Windows).
Maybe when temperature will drop sub-zero and it will give me 516 FSB (don't know if possible) stable (1M stable of course) I will bench 1M again but for now I'm done .
Edit: OK, I'll try some more, but I can't say that I'm sure that I'll improve this time. Maybe some better tweaks in Windows and 4-4-3-4. Furthermore, I'm not sure if I can re-bench @ 514,6 FSB (veeeery unstable). Tweaks in Windows @ 2,4GHz (my 24/7; if someone with E6400 want to compare just Windows optimization, my settings are 300 FSB, 2,4GHz, RAM 900 5-5-5-15 (subtimings 5-35-10-10-10-10 I think) and my best time so far is 23,859s; before mentioned already "4+ h tweaking" it was 23,922s) and then I'll decide if it is worth "real" benching . But remember, I'm not promising anything. It's a little boring in fact (again, again, again and differences in milliseconds only) . Maybe 1-2 hours (some new settings to test), and when results won't get better I will stop, I'm not determined this time .
I really want to increase number of digits to 16/32M and give it a try .

Hey folks,
I wanted to update my Spi 1mb time. Still need to tweak the ram a bit. Haven't had time to tweak the ram to find the tightest timing yet. I believe i was only running ram at 4-4-4-10.
I finally got my phase back, so I now have time to tweak
Spi 1MB WR as of 11/15 is 13.297.
I'm am going to try HARD to break into the 13.1s.
SAD
mine E6400 on chilled Latvian air
Setup (if some1 interested):E6400 L630A (thanx to kiwi )
ASUS P5B vanilla (with some mods on )
2x512Mb Corsair 8000UL (D9DQT) (I wish I wouldn`t set 3.15V to them )
Vcore = 1.63V under load
Vmem = I don`t remember. Should be around 2.5-2.7V
Thanks for posting, it is some motivation for me . Another 0,05s to beat, not sure if possible, because I tried reeeally hard to achieve sub-14s, but who knows, I will try .Originally Posted by TaPaKaH
Now in Poland is pretty "hot" (for benching), ~10°C at night, so this is not that easy as it was before (my sub-14 was @ ~5°C lower and I'm reaching some kind of CPU (or mobo, not sure, but probably CPU @ this temp) wall). But of course the temperature is dropping, so in near future I will do my best .
And 2,5V for RAM is not-reachable on unmodded P5B-Dlx (only ~2,3-2,35V if set to 2,45V in BIOS...), maybe I should try to mod it but I'm a n00b in moding .
Great result, anyway .
How r the 27A week CPUs. I have one, n will be benching soonnn .

I might try some more but I have bad IHS. Im using AF7PRO and temps on cores are 50C stressed at dual prime @3ghz... I've seen much better temps
I've already tried some more but I want to stay close to stock as much as possible. 3.2ghz didnt want to boot OS, no clue why.

The key here is to stay on 1066 strap ( = boot @ 400fsb and clockgen up - this offsets at least 100 mhz of raw cpu speed). And the other Pi tweaks, like closing explorer, and so on.
My cpu can do 1M at least to 3850 Mhz on air, and mem is capable almost on DDR2-1200 4-4-4-8, so it is clear the board is crapping out in my case here... so more Vmch (remember, here the board is unmodded) would probably bring me some more Pi goodness for sure
