    "Open Air" Cooling

    I've seen guys with their rigs in basically a metal frame, it is like having no case. Can anyone suggest a place to buy one, and more importantly what they are properly called.

    Yes, Team Japan are precisely who I had in mind. Guess I can mod|strip an old case to get close.

    Do you want it for benching with, otherwise i guess dust would become a problem?

    Theres somewhere that sells them, Ive seen it, but I cant think of the place off hand.
    Though for a metal shell, they are very expensive for some reason.

    The motherboard tray out of a lianli case would do the job. I use a USPS Priority mail box as my case.

    Yes, benching. I'd have to clean regularly with compressed air no doubt.

    @Timmay

    I'll give those a look.

    Thanks all for the feedback.

    EDIT:

    Below is a link to some of the Tech Stations Timmay was talking about for those interested:

    http://www.highspeedpc.com/

    The "Top Deck" there is tempting.
