I got a problem with my P5WDH Deluxe

It won't go up 320FSB with DRAM Timings by SPD on manual mode.
With DRAM Timings by SPD in auto mode it pass orthos ar 415FSB.

NO, it's not the memory, I was able to set it to DDR2 950 4-4-4-12 with some memory multipliers (not bad for value ram).

    Thanks in advance

OK, thank you - mine says 1.04g, and I got it from Newegg... so it seems they are shipping the new revision. I read earlier in the thread that someone thought newegg was only shipping 1.03g.

What is the difference between revs.? I have rev 1.02. On this board... it uses default cpu multiplier so if i set fsb to 400fsb in bios save and exit the system uses default multi at first 400x11=4400mhz. then at asus post screen bios drops multiplier to what u have set in bios. I need alot of vcore 1.6+ to post above 400fsb i wonder if it is the same in the newer revisions? My p5b mb does not work like that but i would like to use this mb because it is much faster for what i use this system for. Anybody have any clues"?

    E6600 + P5W DH Deluxe

Hey... I just built my rig w/ the E6600 and P5W DH Deluxe using the Tuniq Tower 120 and of course G. Skill 2GBHZ memory... I am currently using the 30% Overclock profile provided by Asus... I listened to larrywild's post and currently running BIOS 1707...

The 30% overclocking profile oc'd my machine to an amazing 3.11GHZ...but I want to be able to do at least 3.5-3.6 since reading through these threads, people said that the E6600 can do 3.8 like nothing... Can anyone help a n00b out on how to overclock manually (w/out using asus's ai booster or profiles) and if you could post your settings... Thank you! Graetly appreciated!

    Post My first question

I am very happy to stay here, into nice Expert and Extreme System Forum.

I have 1 matherboard ASUS P5W DH DELUXE, i have buyed 4 memory CORSAIR 1GB (total 4 gb), and i have used one bios the function on chipset, MEMORY REMAPPED on.
The bios see all 4 gb of memory, but my windows xp pro 32 bit, see only 3.12 gb.

Is possible remap all memory on system? or not?
64 bit system only allocate 128gb of memory?

Thanks a lot in advance all, and bye from italy.

Sorry for not my perfect language..

Bye all friends and moderation team.

    Gday

Im new to this sort of thing and have been researching overclocking over the last few months.
I have been able to get my pc to 3.4 Ghz but sorta chickened out and am now running at 3ghz.
My question relates to Ram timings on this motherboard.

When i first overclocked the Cpu the motherboard automaticly chose 3200 as its ram setting and after reading this forum i have changed it to 834 Mhz. It now correctly shows me as 6400 in the bios post. I hope im making sense here. And now my question.

Since now my ram is running at 416Mhz will this make me out of sync with the bus speed of the cpu 333 mhz and is it safe to do this since i cant determine the temperature of my ram ?

I hope you can give me a few pointers as i have tried to make sence of all the forums but still have many questions.

My current specs are: ( is this a good system for overclocking ? )

Okay, i've installed 4gb of crucial ram, and ofcoruse i only see 3200 mb in my vista 32bit.

I am gonna install 64bit vista now, but is there anyting else i need to do? before i install 64bit?

    Some changes in bios?

i see in my bios that 896Mb of RAM are appropriated... what does that meen?

Does anyone else have the problem where cpu-z reports the wrong cpu voltage once you go over 1.425-1.450 in the bios? Not sure if this is a bios issue or a cpu-z bug.

Im still playin with my retail e6600. So far ive managed 3.6Ghz with my corsair XMS2 6400 Cas4... 400X9 1:1 Ratio..it would be nice if we could have some pics of bios settings also who is using the latest bios 1407?? any good?? i know it allows lower multipliers..

I suppose the main thing i wanna know is how good is my RAM. It supports EPP and is SLi ready apparently. I found some info on Corsairs site it refers to intels Nforce5 590 chipset. Any way of disabling EPP?? Does it affect RAM overclocking?? Any1 have the same memory?

    Thanx in advance
