9700 Pro $300 at Best Buy.......

I didn't see this listed here, so I figured I would throw it out there....
The sale is a little earlier than I figured, maybe more retailers will be dropping prices on this card when the R350 gets a little closer to being available.

If this has already been discussed, please disregard.

The price is decent considering its at a large retailer. Just imagine if you work there or know someone that does! You could get it for really cheap then!

I figured I would throw it out there, as there are alot of BB's around ( USA), and I personally would take walking into a store over online anyday of the week if the prices were comparable.

I work at Best Buy, I'll have to check my discount when I go in today. Must have been a real recent price drop cuz I worked on Friday and they were still $399. With discount at $399 it was down to about $320 before...

Bam, take some% off since they each price match.

Go to BB with the CC ad, get it for $269.10, then go back to CC with the reciept from BB and get it for 242.19, then return the BB one saying your mobo won't support, since it only has a 2x agp slot.

I really need to stop. I feel like a theif.

I'm afraid that won't work. Both stores have it for $299. They won't price match below the price of another store (and theirs) to keep your business.

And no store will PM another in the endless cycle you explained, although it would be nice.

Oh, I didn't think they were both at $299, shoulda checked the links

Well, Staples will do crazy matching. You can get stuff below cost if you know where to look. And the others stores will PM each other once usually, not endlessly (even that is below me).

Whats best is finding stuff off of Pricegrabber. Sometimes, they don't list refurbed as "refurbed". Then you go in there and get 10% off of that.

I don't know about other stores, but Best Buy does not price match any internet price. I don't think most places will. Our price match policy also matches the price, doesn't beat it... as far as I know anyway.

Oh, and for those of you wondering, best buy employee price on the 9700 is........... $299! Heh, no discount.
