New 2.4B out for a spin

    SL6RZ newest rev of 2.4B

    1.675v core, not stable SS.

Great for DC DDR bandwidth. Ill post up some Sandra's before I rip the CPU out and put a new 3.06 back in.

I backed it off some for a PCMark run @ 1.65v

    2.8v DDR

That looks very good But we have seen already C1 with other S-sepc 100% stable running at above 3300 Mhz. Question: how stable is this? Is it just a screenshot or at least a little stable

Got me a 2.4B, SL6EF this week, Costa Rica week 51.
Runs 3500Mhz, 1.60V (bios) on Prommy. Tested Prime95 for 12 hours yesterday with no probs.
It boots at 3600Mhz, 1.65V but Prime crashed after 15 minutes.
    Looks like a keeper :p

I've been with amd forever, but i have to say those 2.4b's are looking good.. I built a P4 system for gentleman the other day. while I was testing for stablity I went ahead and pushed it around alittle... it reached 3.0 with the stock heatsink @ default voltage!!! I ran outta time to push it further.... btw that was prime stable! I couldn't believe it.
    I thought I wanted a career....
Turns out I just wanted a Paycheck...

Baker18 should be arrested for that kind of abuse. Im sure there are laws against that.

    Nice, very nice.

    Cool RMA's

"Here is my 2.4. It7 died waiting 4 RMA"

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...

I keep reading more and more of this cr.p.

You blew it up, then advertise you are going to RMA a slug you blew up???

Come on guys, keep your nefarious RMA's under wraps.

Is it a badge of honor to RMA a slug or component nowadaze that the user has abused into a nonworking unit with overclocking and extra vre?

Hey, I have returned a couple of items over the years that would be considered user abuse, but I don't advertise it. Well, I guess I did just advertise it, shoot.

Everyone has to pay for these RMA's sooner or later, through higher retail prices (although, I have to admit, the amount per unit sold is probably very small).

Sometimes people lurk at these sites just to get a feel for what is happening in the "lets see how much we can get crowd", you know, Intel types, AMD types, if you get my drift.

I am off the soapbox now.

These new 2.4's are clockers, got to get another one, smiles.

Fugger That's a great FSB...is your board stock? Which bios? I have a 8INXP with the issued F3 bios. The board simply will NOT go higher than 180. It's also very sensitive to Vcore voltages.

F4 unmodded bios, un modded board.

The RZ chip used is a new lower voltage model.

    thanks , turned 21 hehehehe

i found if i raise the vCore to 1.75 she's stable at 183, for 3.302ghz...wooo, broke the 3.3 mark
it seems to respond well to voltage, but i'm not taking it any higher
