    yup 3.0v -/+ 5% http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...l_channel_gold which equals 3.15v max

    i'm testing 2x 512MB OCZ PC3200 Gold right now on DFI NF4 SLI-D

tips for this ram on DFI NF4 SLI-D

    1. don't use 325 or 326 bios they mess up the ram clocks and threw me off track as to what the ram can do. i.e. lower cpu multipliers in 325 bios don't work 10x/9x
    2. best bios so far 310 official bios
    3. with 310 official bios fix ddram data drive strength = 1 otherwise you can sometimes BSOD in windows, i set drive strength at 2, 4, 6, 8 fine with no probs
    4. ram with 310 official bios performs nearly exactly like old BH-5 in terms of mhz ceilings at each vdimm setting
    5. like old BH-5, the new BH die stuff on this ram doesn't boot at cas3
    6. ram is untested beyond 200mhz speed so guess not even OCZ know what they are consistently capable of overclocking wise from module to module

    so far with 310 official bios with 2x 512MB OCZ PC3200 Gold on DFI NF4 SLI-D i'm at memtest86+ v1.55.1 wise

    240mhz 2-2-2-5 at 3.0v
    245mhz 2-2-2-5 at 3.1v
    250mhz 2-2-2-5 at 3.2v
    255mhz 2-2-2-5 at 3.3v
    260mhz 2-2-2-5 at 3.5v
    266mhz 2-2-2-5 at 3.6v <-- only ran 25 passes

    using 3500+ CAA2C 0507 GPMW cpu

no burn in yet... want to see how these do straight out of the box first

    lower volts

    200mhz 2-2-2-5 at 2.8v
    225mhz 2-2-2-5 at 2.9v

3.0-3.1v is where they start to fly into 240mhz region

Thanks for the post Eva, those modules would be great for those that dont want insane memory clocks or insane vDimm... 240 2-2-2 3.0vDimm is a very good moderate overclock... perfect for those with higher multis

Just want to make sure, eva2000...

You're testing VX PC3200 Gold, not VX PC3200 Value, right?

    i.e.

    325 bios

    11x 245mhz 2-2-2-5 at 3.1v memtest fine
10x 245mhz 2-2-2-5 at 3.1v hangs prior to loading memtest

11x 225+ mhz 2-2-2-5 at 2.9v hangs prior to loading memtest unless i change cas to 2.5 so 11x 225-245mhz 2.5-2-2-5 load memtest fine

310 official bios no probs with 10x multiplier and using cas2 >225mhz

    @ Eva2000,

Just a friendly tip regarding Memtest
You might want to test it with "Memtest for Windows" because this program gives quite a "reality-check" as far as memory stability goes.
I've learned it hard way how deceiving running only DOS/BIOS memtest can be

yes i know the limitations of memtest86+ http://i4memory.com/showthread.php?t=6 it's only a starting point which can potentially be lower in windows after stability testing ( http://i4memory.com/showthread.php?t=327 )

Man! That program is harsh.... maybe even buggy.
I just tried it out at 10x256 3.2vDimm (my daily speed), and it fails within minutes.... at the same speed I can loop MemTest86 for ever and have run Prime95 Blend for 42hours! Not just that, but 10x250 fails just as quickly.... something aint right
