Very nice chip and gfx card.

What brand is your 6600GT? (waxman's)

Edit looked and it was an XFX if anyone else is curious.

We used a slipstreamed windows xp compiled by GinTonic.

If we had used windows 2000+sp4 I think 25,5k or even 26k was possible.

And the ricky tweak is the default setting when installing windows

Besides, we never got to test my ocz bh5 and VX kits in detail or even GinTonic's mushkin bh6.

After all, we were in an lanparty

    My bh5 can bench @ 265 mhz 1.5-2-2-0 with 3.5v and my VX @ 264 1.5-2-2-0 with the same voltage on GinTonic's DFI SLI-DR

I think we can get more mhz out of those mems.

Myself preparing to bench the hell out of GinTonic's rig:

GinTonic has a special pic to post

I must say I find these results quite impressive. I have a CPU like that in a MSI K8N Neo2 54G Platinum and so far I could run SuperPI 32MB at 2600mhz with 1.38v. With 1.5v I think I can't get anything near those 3ghz (I guess a I can get a print screen at 2850... far from those 3Ghz)

    Regards from Portugal.

Thanks for the welcome IvanAndreevich. I read this forum for a while but I was shy to post 'cause I'm not that Pro.

I already tried with more vcore. There are a few problems I want to fix. First is the lack of time for real testing. The second is that I'm still with stock cooler (I should buy a new one in the next weeks.. just waiting for holidays. I am also having undervoltage problems (known issue in this mbo.) In holidays (about 15 days from now) I'm gonna borrow a multimeter and try to check this out. With 1.6 I don't think I can go much further than 2.9 for the print. I have to buy a few fans, change the NB thermal compound... But now I have lots of tests and I don't want to get into it... otherwise it would be hard to stop.

Gintonic and Waxman sorry 'bout the offtopic.

Yeah, the graphics card is indeed a XFX and it's mine . Waxman has a X800 PRO Vivo (a pretty good beast )

BH5 likes NF4... altough I can get good results with my Geil Dragon PC3500... BH5 can do better... so... I guess I need new mems

Nukke, don't worry Post anything u want
