can't see tWL (tWCL aida) in HWinfo, but aida shows most of what's in GB bios.
found tWL runs +1 on gtx2 > OCZ (performance is the same)

got the gtx2 running ok now, but to equal or beat the ocz on max performance at C7,
the gtx2 need 0.02v > OCZ on SB. the extra vdimm depends on the command rate.
CR1 with almost any subtiming on gtx2 will not run until the vdimm is as high as the ocz
but at auto subtiming, or CR2 with tight subs, gtx2 runs 7-7-6 1067mhz @ 0.1v lower than ocz can.

    for tWL set/reported difference:

i set all same manual timings/subs on ocz and gtx2, all same tweaks and waza,
    and gtx2 is faster by 0.4s @ 5ghz 1067mhz

    but the OCZ can run tWL 6 @ 1093mhz, on gtx2 tWL 7 is stable min at 1067mhz. each tWL -1 = -0.4s @ 5ghz 1067
so i think set tWL is different between the sticks.. for 32m performance tWL 6 on OCZ = tWL 7 on gtx2

    my timings:

    OCZ @ 1067mhz+ (all OCZ runs posted^)
    values as bios set

    7-7-6

    tRFC 58
    tWTR 4
    tWL 6
    tWTP 15
    tRTP 4
    tRRD 4
    tWR 12
    tFAW 16

    GTX2 @ 1067mhz+
    values as bios set

    7-7-5

    tRFC 55
    tWTR 4
    tWL 7
    tWTP 14
    tRTP 4
    tRRD 4
    tWR 12
    tFAW 16

    50x 100.0 (100.2 bios set)

    GTX2 @ OCZ timings^ except tWL = 7 (OCZ @ OCZ timings^ (tWL 6) = 6m32.844)

    50x 100.0 (100.2 bios set)

    GTX2 @ GTX2 timings^

As i said before its not my Pi OS so catching cheapseats wont be a problem with the right OS and more tuning, you can see my bonus round was also bad loop24>finish, with the right bonus round that would have been 6m33.3s

i've uploaded a video as well but it hasnt been processed by youtube

i;m talking full bios setup, it isn't in memory timings. 5 seconds is a fundamental issue. cpu settings, etc.

Dino my issues seems more or less, setting max mem and or waza = zilch in my board... seems really sluggish HD wise to, I swapped drive for a diff one same thing.....swapped ports same thing.

Diff board maxmem -3s + waza -2s........ maybe its my 2500K.

my time without wazza would be faster than what you and jody showed earlier so its gotta be something else

2500K is probably a bit slower, i dont have one to test to be honest but with less cache its highly likely to be slower a touch

What are your gains from say auto settings to manual?

I find it hard to believe that i can run almost all subtimings 1-1-1 at 2200 ram on air

Gains I see are about the same as jody's 2 secs from manual to stock.

i run SLOWER when i go really tight than full auto, few seconds difference

you have to test all timings one at a time, very time consuming but prepare to put the time in to find out WTF is going on. I had to do it when jody asked me about this difference he thought there was and I kept getting some odd results with gungho tight timings (untested) so i went back and isolated them, setting auto settings one by one and then slowly tightening some little by little.....

what i am using with my kit and IMC may not work for others either so if it doesnt back to the drawing board and test it all out basically

I did that from the very beginning.....MY actual setttings that i was using was way diff than the video......i just realized that hey half of thse subs seem to not work at all and started sucking them in to confirm.

Also your timings you posted plus the timings in my video = same times.

I'll take a stab at it more tommorow i guess.

Nice time chew! Looks like 2500K isn't all way lost against the bigger cache of 2600K.

Yesterday I was testing some cheapo crappy MSI P67-C43. There is / was a contest on a german site where you needed MSI board so I went out to get the cheapest piece I can get. The bios is pita and bios up to .185 will allow 1,35Vcore only, new one will give you "amazing" 1,5V - there is no vccsa, pll or io voltage setting
My RAM wouldn't run good, I corrupted the bios several times, yeah it was fun ^^ But managed the "aussie basis reference time" of 6min 39s

    6min 39s 500ms

Sof that run was full tweaks and highly tuned PSC. Still think 2500K is slower at min 2 secs CPC.

Jody I assume your on phase still?

I'm at max 20C cpu full load.......6C quite often.

Dino your on H70 water normal ambients?

Cheapseats what temp are you running the cpu at or keeping it under?
