    Thanks, batch# L040B698.

Ive been trying different kits of ram, different multipliers and as long as timings are fairly tight the score in 1m is pretty much the same. In 32m though I can see a small difference. This was with a 2 stix from a 3x1gb kit of HyperX

Looking good. There is room for some tweaking despite its design limitations that is simply fun to explore. I too have been testing out different ram types, mostly Gskill. Seems like all the L040B types are solid and have even more then 5G on tap. I am on water and the f6a bios allowed max on every multi with awesome stability. Unfortunately my board has lost dual channel but I will move on rather quickly with another. Sandy loves Cinebench R11.5 so check it out.

Got really bored so i started messing with lower mem multipliers, then started dropping timings and ran these.

I guess below 5-4-4, or 5-3-3 it really isnt doing anything. Dont know why its even an option if its borked.

Very nice score there aristidis with a new batch L042B078. That is the first L042B I have seen. I just grabbed another 2600K for backup and it is a batch L042B208, though I have not tested it yet.

The LOG word in the Thermal Status area of RealTemp shows that core reached the thermal throttling point at least once. In theory that doesn't happen until you hit 98C on this CPU but if it hits the throttling point even for a millisecond, it will be logged by RealTemp. This info is stored within the CPU itself until the next time you boot up.

I'm noticing that the 2500K uses less voltage to get to the same frequency as its 2600k counterpart. Is that because the 2500k doesn't have Hyper Threading and the 2600k does, so it requires more voltage?

Seriously guys, you must be joking! Calling yourselves "Sandy Bridge 5GHz Club" and then only run Super PI.

OC Nub, 1M is pure raw CPU power... 32M should be beneficial of tighter latencies and more ram speed
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree
