I have the regular ASUS EAH5850 DirectCU and it is limited to 900 core in smart doctor and Afterburner per Underwire doesn't support it. I believe the tops bios allows smart doctor up to 1200 core can someone post this bios.

only thing you can't change in afterburner is the voltage, just use smart doctor first for voltage change then adjust the clocks... Fan control is a bit iffy too in CF.Originally Posted by trt740

Yes true but with the Tops bios I believe smart doctor allows higher clocks. Do you know what the smart doctor clock limits are for your card? Is it higher than 900 if not it's not worth the flash. Oh thx for the bios.

well this bios won't flash I get a rom error anyone with this bios help me out. error OFL01 it says it cannot erase the rom

You just have to unlock the rom. This info came from W1zzard from TPU thank him.
This works the rom has to be unlocked then you can flash it and it allow the clocks to go from 900/5000 to 950 /5200 in smart doctor allowing you to use one tool.
type like it is below at the c prompt
atiflash -unlockrom 0
atiflash -f -p 0 FLASHME.BIN
now I have the top edition
