Can I put you down for some TX3s and stainless steel brackets too Anarki?

I haven't managed to source any 3/8 to 1/2" 6-32 screws yet, so if anybody can help out there it'd be appreciated.

Jacka that would be great thanks, as I said though guys I get paid next week so I can sort out funds via PM then

As for screws I have a whole bunch of these weird hex bottom threaded screws that I used to stack motherboards on top of each other:

Not sure if they could be useful

Had a quick look but couldn't find any of the correct size. Their search is awful. :p

I've looked on all of the major sites that I could find. I can get some of the correct length made of nylon, but that's not ideal.

Yeah sorry about that. I found it right at the end of my lunch break so didn't really look ;p

I did manage to sneakily buy eight 8356's while flipping between spreadsheets and pretending to do work
Good thing too as I've just seen that they've all sold.

I'm living on the breadline for you Anarki

rakicomputers has one of the Arima F3000 quad socket boards for sale, it has 6 days left on the auction.

I'm interested in grabbing it - so please fellow members don't bid on it

has anyone seen any other cheap/good heatsinks for these? I found some $15 cooler master tower coolers and some $11 block coolers:

    $15 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103075

    $11 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103087

but that's about it so far you can find them for slightly cheaper but @ riskier sellers.

    edit: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=21430
    $9.99!

    Good luck mate
I offered him a buyout at $112.00 and got no reply. So I wacked $180.00 as a final bid and got it for $115.00

I just realised that I'm getting the cpu's posted to home rather than work
Hopefully customs wont want a peek at 'em like they did with Jacka's.

I've copied out a few choice posts from the other thread, give me a sec and I'll go through them as I think Oldchap linked a few other heatsinks.

Edit: Just one but the one's you've linked are cheaper, sorry for getting your hopes up

If those are useful to you then you will find them at most electrical wholesale outlets...They are (well at least I know them as...) 3.5mm pin extensions as used to extend the screws used for switch and socket outlets when for reasons of aesthetics the original screws must be used even if they are too short.

The seller MrMojoz linked has relisted the 8350's a little cheaper, $34.00 down from $40.00.

Got a response from the heat sink seller. I can get the Coolermaster Hyper TX3s for £10.80 each. There will be postage to my address and then postage to you added on top, but I'm not sure how much that will be.

I can't do the drawings for the mounting brackets until I get the heat sinks, so it'd be over a week between me getting the heat sinks and receiving the brackets, unless somebody on the forums with a TX3 and some experience in CAD would be kind enough to draw up some brackets for us?

That's fine mate. I'm still waiting for all my kit. I bet customs are groping my board right now

Do you need us to transfer you the money for the sinks and then the postage at a later date? Or just the one payment?

8GB would be £56 plus postage which I'll find out for you.

Heat sinks will be around £10.80 each plus postage. Haven't been given a firm price for them yet so we'll see.

Thats not bad if you can get them at 150euro, I'm liking the fact their 55W as well.

I'll leave them for someone else to grab as I already have cpu's sorted.
