my palit card is shorter and uses a side by side dmi hence double size bracket so the box is in the way,if not i could get even a cheap as1 rev2 to fit it np.an other thing with the shorter non ref pcb is that its core is closer to the bracket then the other cards.
not had a ref. board yet but i think same bolt space?

the ref. boards with over and under connectors will have an easier time to fit coolers that are on the market already.
No, its definitely not same as G92.
AFAIK Palit is using old G92 mounting.
Rest including the reference are using different mounting holes.
They are not in square arrangement but rectangular with diagonal distance of around 80mm.

See, here is the picture of Palit GTX 460 that I found on web.

Now here are few pics of my Galaxy GTX 460. And even reference models have same mounting points to this one.

I have a Palit with the basic aluminum heatsink so I put on a old Zalman vf900 using the outer most holes. The temps were worse than the stock heatsink so I ended up putting the stock HS back on then strapping a 92 mm fan to it leaving the shroud off. It lowered my temps a good 6 degrees C. Not a huge diff. but better.
