System specifications:

AMD Phenom II 955 BE (high leakage sample)
Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P
2x1GB Crucial Value D9GTS
2x Gigabyte HD4870X2

CPU at liquid helium with the F1 (working surprisingly well) and stock coolers on the graphics cards.

3DMark05:

Damn annoying 10 points for the WR, we spent alot of time trying to fix this of course but in the end we ran out of time.

3DMark06:

Big thanks to everyone involved in this event, especially Macci and SF3D for making all of this possible!

Wow, missed out on the '05 WR by 9 points - 50026 to 50017. Dominating numbers in '06. Well done guys.

I wonder why the choice of x2s? Hmmm, interesting.

The board they are using only has 2 PCIe slots, so HD 4870x2 CFX is the only option

Damn.....looks like you guys would had it with a little of my magic touch on the ram on that board........its capable of stable clocks in excess of 1860 with those IC'S but is rather tricky.
Bet that would have made up 20 points

btw i was wondering why you havent used a tripple Xfire 4890 setup for these benchmarks instead. Dont you would have scored higher

These are ORB W.R.s. Mikeguava has the current 05 record over there.

i dont think they will put these up on HWBOT being super cherries and all but i could be wrong

i do hope hwbot and the oc community resolve the ES chip issue soon.
