What I found with my chip is:

    200x18 @1.3V (stock volts) = ok.
    200x18.5 @ 1.35V = ok.
    200x19 @1.4V = ok.

So I needed 0.5V more per 100MHz step after 3.6GHz. (This was with all other voltages at stock, NB, CPU-NB, etc)

Good luck, hope your CPU unlocks to 4 cores and is a good clocker
Thanks for the reply Anarki. I've got 3 120's in my case so it will maybe hit 4Ghz I hope with decent temps then. Did you unlock yours? Did you try any FSB OC'ing with it or just multiplier?

I don't think my chip will unlock, I had a flaky motherboard so I can't say for certain until I decide on what board to get next and trying it out.

I couldn't get my chip to 4GHz stable, the max was around 3.97GHz - 209x19 @ 1.5V, even then it would lock-up when I primed it over an hour. Thats with the NB and CPU-NB at 0.2V over stock. I still blame the motherboard though I was running Windows 7 64bit which I hear isn't as stable as XP or Ubuntu.

A lot of people have had much more success than me with their setups, if I were you I'd be happy just to unlock the 2 cores

I PM'ed a guy at OC.net who has his at 4Ghz with the same lapped cooler to see what his temps are,I'll let you know what he says. What MB do you have?

I have a question. Which is better to o/c when you don't want to bother to unlock the other 2 cores? normal firmware or hybird? Does it have any difference? such as, performance... higher clocks? more stable?

I still need to stress test, but temps are hot when unlocked and I need an after market cooler before stress testing any further. Looked good after about 15 min or so of testing though. I'll update after I get a new cooler.

0919 epmw on Asus m4a78e failed, 1 core broken tried everything to get it working but failed!

Had a hard time to get this board to recognise the 4 cores, had to drop the 082 modded bios into it.

also had a 0920 gpmw that failed also....might just try 1 more cpu...then if that fails on X4...i'll just give up!

I tried 550BE 0915FPMW on two boards and no luck

    0915FPMW - Cele303 - DFI 790FXB-M2RSH - 2001 - Fail - Link
    0915FPMW - Cele303 - Asrock AOD790GX/128M - P1.50 - Fail - Link

DFI can boot with ACC - Auto but Asrock can't... Still happy with 550 X2, SS with overclocked X2, 3800MHz, bios defaults and box cooler...

Would a M3A79-T Deluxe unlock one of these? Also I am looking for a good uATX board anyways, would love to buy one that has the ability to unlock that uses DDR2 if possible. Any idea the odds of the BIOSTAR TA790GX XE unlocking? Seems like a cheap solid uATX.

Put ACC to -2% for each core I believe, from what I remember reading anyways.

Hibrid is specifically the unlock setting. The ACC, it doesn't seem to help any of my Phenom II's.

Also, one more question. i see that the X2 550 has a Hyper Transports of 4000MHz. In bois it's set to2000mhz, so should i change it to 4000mhz in bios?

    2,000Mhz HT = 4,000Mhz effective. That's the correct setting

Side note. I just went a bit purchase happy. I got the UD3P and a stick of DDR3 to see if I can unlock the 550. I also purchased a BIOSTAR TA790GX XE and will see if that unlocks (assuming I get a chip that unlocks...). I needed another mobo anyways for a cruncher, might as well get some testing done at the same time. Saw a few reports of that board unlocking 720BE's.
