are you running the NB on Plain Air or H2O ?

I also running NB with chiled water around 2 to 5 C, so i have stability at high fsb's.

i played with Nehalem last night

with the right clocks i think 92K+ should be doable

bloody useless at 3D tests it is........i dont know what sort of clocks i'd need on 4890 but it sounds like a hipro hack job to me with some ridiculous clocks like 1350-1400MHz core that would probably get nature cap

strange to see how much slower it is in 3D tests. i think i was getting 1014FPS in nature compared to 1145 at same clocks on REX setup iirc

I dont know whose fault is, but the last week was a disaster. Stelios has lost his good rampage and his good 8600 and i have lost my good 9650.. And i dont want to test yet my new EVGA CLASSIFIED with 920 D0.

I am considering trying the axe-mod on GTX260. Had some horrifying sessions these days, if I have the time (but especially more LN2) I will try with some other board. Anyways, not good, not good at all (Nature I mean).

I have good news and bad news, which first ? the goods one :

New rig (rampage x48) same HD on ata133 promisse PCI same mem (Gskill GTR) NB on H2O (1.77 volt) and the old 9800GX2 uning on LN2 at -45 all the bench at 945/1145 - the Nature at 880/1105 lod 4,8 and the PCIe at 120.1 - (the rest was at 124 MHz).

ORDER WAS : CH - LL - LH - DL - DH - CL ( 10 to 12 times)

Get this :



and last the NATURE (using the NVHancer to enable SLI - all the previews was at single mode)

and get Nature 1390 fps.

Next change the resolution for capturing prosses - save the bench at the HD (auto capture prosess using the Fastone Capture) and now is starting the BAD NEWS.

(I forgot to mention that i was put to the VGA card the Higher clock - 945/1145 - for the capture) and during the capture prosses the temp was dropt at -18 i think....)

So i change again the resolussion at 1024x768 to run again the Nature to get the extra fps (i have 10 fps to gain..)

But all the hardware is stoping and then the power was down......for a moment i think that was the PSU (Hiprotech 1200w) - i change PSU BUT the mobo dont start.....

This story was take place just a few minutes before. i take the HD and put it at my home pc to get the capture images and submit the 2k1 at ORB.

I am to tired now - it is almost 24:00 now here in Greece and i am going to sleep now.

(i am benching for 17:00 till now)....

Sorry to hear that bro...I see from last year that if it works good for us, it works better for you (remember 3th and 4th place 2k1 last year in August), but unfortunately if it goes bad for us I see it goes bad for you. I will try and push harder tomorrow my good friend, and hopefully it will al go well for both of us
