Hi guys, we spent today preparing for tomorrow overclocking AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition. We used liquid helium successfully and cooled F1 EE down to -237 degrees Celsius. CPU and system was running just fine with +6 GHz clocks 3DMark05 stable. Tomorrow we will do final runs and publish some nice results

Does the cpu scale with the even colder temperatures?

Great job Sampsa! These chips are proving to be the most "cold loving" ones out there .

Oh and someone please inform Shintai that these chips actually worked at -235 degrees C ,they didn't fail with this type of cooling and low temperatures as he claimed they will back when LHe cooling rumors started to show up.
It's simply incredible how we came from -30C CB on Agena to -235C (not the limit probably) on Deneb retail parts.

Oh, come on. Just admit that you were wrong. You said it wouldn't be possible yet they managed to do it.

Congrats to the spectacular run! Looking forward to see the results.

Which means LHe should be the tool to capture most every Deneb record. I'd like to see P4 clocks on that Deneb--that would be sweet!

Hmm.. I guess now I need to see if Airgas carries LHe, and how much for it.

Massman - I guess you have to add LHe to the type of cooling for HWBot

    Two questions:
    1. How far down does the monorail go close to the party? Is the party at a hotel?
    2. Will you guys get a world record overclock on my iPhone?
