That's a nice idea. I guess if Asus does like they did with most of their previous boards where the layouts are pretty much all the same, it could work for more than one model.

Just two blocks instead of four.

One for the mosfets and another for the NB/SB. That would be sweet.

My mos blocks are indeed 76mm hole to hole, but I have no idea if that's what the motherboard is. Naekuh, could you let us all know when you get yours?

Nice looking blocks. The socket head caps make them look industrial or mil-spec.

    the mosfet is my idea.

    The nb/sb is bei's conception.

The nb/sb block also covers the DDR3 Mosfets located right below.

The beauty of my mosfet design is for multi board roles, you need just a different middle section.

Bei u should show off the 790i version you also made.
Would make a lot of guys cry.

    Teasers:
Top Cover, Middle plate is confidental.

LOL good eye andy, however as you can count theres 4 caps near the sb.

The two you see are the ones below the DDR3.

Theres also 2 hidden under that fb block. (Full Board blocks)!! since i created them, can i at least be allowed to name them?

Yeah, ive been telling them that a lot... but no one would listen to me..
