Would this be a better board to get over the DFI X48?

It seems to be about Ģ30 more and not sure why...

its more than the lp dk x48, but not the lt or ut. i had that board (dk x48) several months ago and was not impressed. i guess the extra cost is for the digital pwm, the extra pcie "16" slot and the extra bundle. i just got my ut p45 from newegg an hour ago, and had a little trouble getting it to run dual channel, but figured it out. had the tpower the last few months and it took a few minutes to get used to fine granulation on the voltage and working with a decent selection of straps/dividers. i ordered this board after newegg had it for sale less than an hour, and guess what, it had been used. scratches on the heat sinks and the metal frame that clamps on the socket, plastic bags openned and scotch taped(!!) shut, bios settings saved on the "cmos loaded" slots, etc. somebody in the warehouse must have taken it home for a day or 2 and/or set it up in the warehouse. i will check everything out and see if it worx before i decide to send it back or not. seems like a nice board, not as easy and flat out spectacular as the ut p35, but has potential. will start posting some results tonight with my average e8500 c0, another coming tomorrow, maybe e0, and a q9550 the day after that.

thanx for the bios settings, c-n.

edit i checked and this board is actually $10 less than the dk x48 t2rs, and $30 less than the dk t2rsb.

I have also attached a tweaked Smartguardian skin free for anyone that wants it.

Download the skin, unzip it (if it's zipped, IDRC), drag into proper Smartguardian folder (something along the lines of skins etc. will check for sure later as my main PC is down ATM).

Download the RAR & unpack it, Close SG, Copy & paste the background & smart.ini into the ITE/SG folder then re open SG.
