agreed, and then someone's gonna come around, telling about a hose that got detached from the pump or the radiator, and ask "how the hell could that happen , you guys think my mb is still OK etc...etc..." Just to say that not using clamps on hose/barbs or compression fittings all the way is suicidal. Accidents ? Some of you guys are just asking for it

As long that the tube is 7/16" ID I dont see the need for clamps or zips.

Who are you talking to? All my fittings are clamped with the exception of the BP fittings on the DD block. I'm not concerned about leaks since I can barely pull the tube from the fitting to begin with, so......

The pump placement and general layout is the best i have ever seen.

I think horizontal layout is better in terms of GPU waterblocks coz usualy they are very heavy and they tend to bend a card. with this configuration it does not matter how heavy gpu block is.
    Will not bend a card.

    Thanks for comments

    is that aimed at me?

its been built abuot a year now with no leaks, its 7/16 tubing over fat 1/2" barbs and its so tight I needed to heat the ends of the tubing in boiling water to get them over the barbs and getting them back off again is a nightmare.

I'm happy, I know what I'm doing tbh been around the block a few times on this and I'm much happier with 7/16 and no clips/ties than with 1/2" with clips etc... the tubing is literally moulded onto the barbs.

Irregardless, should your pump die, your tubing will heat up and pop off at the weakest link.

It's happened to a couple people recently and is not fun.

matt100 Sweet build! Very similar to what I am trying to achieve! Except my case is smaller and probably not quite as well built! I really only have space for one internal loop. If I add a second one it will have to be external, which is not what I am after.

    So I don't lose it

I will eventually be going sli, and I'd rather not have to buy a new bridge because I lost the bridge.
