Exclamation Hope im wrong ,,GPU-Z reports 65nm on second set of 55nm 9800GT and 9800GTX+

Ok as the topic says i have two New 55nm Nvidia EVGA brand videocards...If GPU-Z is correct it says thier both made in 2007 and are 65nm...!!!!!!!

I dont know what crack EVGA is pulling ...I feel like the biggest Idiot,, seeing , i just returned two perfectly good supposedly 55nm (G92B1)( 65nm A2 says GPU-Z) ...

I figure what are the chances of me getting two more A2 65nm cards that are suppose to be 2008 55nm B1's!!

Well i got two more ...

Does any one know if GPU-Z is correct ,, is it a bug or is EVGA pulling the wool on us...

Well ive been waiting two weeks for these to come in .Now that i have second pair and the same old A2 65nm..

Here are the Part numbers and here are the GPU-Z's...Ill be talking to EVGA rep Monday ,, i just want to know i have 55nm like it says i purchased!... Crap i coulda had my pair of 4870x2 but no i had to order two sets of Nvidia cards to show what the F is going on.. So now after 2x9800GT and 2x9800GTX+ i still dont Know if there really 55NM... Coulda been playing with 2x4870xx2x I really wanted to see how the new 55nm 9800 Cards stacked up Vs my 4850..

    suppose read Hybrid 2008 55nm and GTX+?

I am hoping this is a GPU-Z problem...I grabbed these for 55nm Technology...I am not too happy right now and im not the first that this has happened too!...

P.S. I have no problem with any of the Video cards working correct.. I just have a problem with paying for something that i cant tell what the hellll i have or not..what they say they gave me and what im seeing dosnt fly

UPDATE............. GTX+ is 55nm GPUZ-Z seems to report it wrong......Dont have my digi handy or id post pic... it is indeed a (G92 B1 55nm) but had to remove the HS to find out...the 9800GT though had a A2 on the first one and i dont feel like pulling the second 9800gt apart im just sending i back and keeping the GTX+....

I give many thanks to "Wizzard" when he gets a chance im shure GPU-Z will be updated .. Thus saving lots of people from pulling the cooler to find out if they have the correct core they paid for...

the gtx+ i dont think is 55nm yet, and gpuz reads fram a table to fill in the info then gets the product ID and clock fram the card, so it may not have 55nm in the database yet

and the spec sheet says nothing about NM

Ill know more monday ,,from what ive read and have seen for hybrid series cards are or were suppose to have 55nm for 9800GTX+ and 9800GT ..ive seen other post where people took the coolers off GT and found a 65nm and they too thought the NEW hybrid 9800GT was 55nm.

Its nice to know what one has ,,before having to rip it apart . luckily i dont mind doing mods or going down new paths.. Its nice to know before going down that new path.

Took off the cooler and look
    ePOWER EP-2000P10-T3 REVIEW at www.newegg.com

Pros: Powering my computer along with my air conditioner and my refrigerator, and I used it to jump start my truck once.

Cons: The only problem was the FBI at my door saying something about knocking out power for the east coast...not sure what thats about.

gpu-z can't detect 65 nm vs. 55 nm on these gpus because the smart nvidia engineers just sized down the gpu and apparently forgot to update the gpu revision number

Oh bummer ....thanks for all the hard work too

also ..From what i under stand supposedly the EVGA 9800GT models N975/N976/N978 are using g92A 2007 65nm ,,where as the N980 is hybrid with g92B 2008 55nm.

I cant test gts now got fed up and returned them in person ,,Twice the wrong 975/976 model was recievied when i checked them.. i was told all 975/976 were new 55nm versions,, but there not only N980 is suppose to be ATM.

The GTX+ is good to go ..Now at least i can move on to clockn the crap out of it.
