    Hi guys,

So far this has been the most compreensive thread about the striker II Formula, which I happen to own.
Anyway, I will post some of my results and the gear I am using in a couple of hours. I am using a Q6600 G0, and was a breeze to oc this to 3.6 on a previous Asus board (Maximus formula), tho in need of an SLI solution I ended up with a striker 2. It was a breeze for someone with not so much experience in OC´ing.
Tho one thing I am stuck at, is that no matter how much I change the Vcore voltage of the striker I cant seem to see any changes, either on the bios or on any proggy I use for monitoring. Is this something someone experienced?
I am stuck with a flakey 3.2 oc atm, in need of a guide to the Vcore voltage changes, which I dont seem to be able to check.

Thanks for the reply spajdr, trying to figure out how I am going to do that. You mean register them manually and work out the changes? how?

On a side note, I have used everest (looking at EvoCarlos post) and ProbeII, they wont leave the 1.25V even though I have cranked it up slightly.

no need for vdroop it has loadline calibration in bios that reduces the droop on my s2f from over .09v (lc) off to .02-03v (lc) on, more than sufficent imo.

Well, first attempt at overclocking past 3.0GHz Tried 4-4-4-12 1T on ram but got the mem beeeeep and boot, so went to 2T and works nicely. Been running for 20 min now without a hiccup. Only Stress was 3DMark06 I ran it at default cept for desktop res@1920x1200.

Everything on AUTO cept the ref voltages
    1800 FSB
    +20
    +20
    DDR Cont +20
    Ram 1 DDR_Ref
    Ram 2 DDR_Ref

1.34v on the VCore seems kinda low for a 2.5-3.375GHz OC but that's what AUTO spits out, even for the lower 3.0GHz OC.

Excellent help EvoCarlos! Beats helping a lady cross the street for a good action of the day!

3.6 sorted. Loadline does help with the correct voltage readings for sure.
Is it advisable to disable it now I wonder?

Anyway screenies just out of the microwave.

Gonna try and lower some of the NB voltages etc.

nice i got thermaltake BW on my gpu's just the twin rad tho lol

the default nb is 1.3v and the sb is 1.5v so the nb @ 1.38 is not to bad for 3.6ghz so sb dont need any ajustment till later on but you can alway set it to 1.5 maybe

also how did you get the spp in everist lol

ok now my comp wont get into the OS even in Safe Mod. First my network went down, refused to see my router or my server(connected via patch cable). I tried reinstalling the nvidia drivers and the hit the fan. I loaded default BIOS but nuthin.

    Vista x64

Everything was great till both network adapters decided to not work. The IP's were correct but I had no access to internet or my server. I uninstalled the nvidia drivers, used drivercleaner, then reinstalled, then no boot at all, would freeze on the green "Cylon" bar. Safe Mode, Last Known Config, nuthin. So I tried a "repair" Well it doesn't see the damn OS(installed on a stripe set). So I loaded drivers off a thumbdrive, they failed.

Screw it, im startin from scratch.

Yah I like raid 0 on the OS as it improves bootup speed and general program speed overall. I had 4x80GB drives in 2 raid 0 sets but this mobo keeps dropping 1 set. Now I have the OS on 1 Stripe Set and a single RaptorX 150 for the games.

ok...Vista reinstalled without a hitch(stock settings no OC). So no hardware apears to have been fuzzled. I'll try a clean OC after required drivers are installed.

    great Interupt_Exception_Not_Handled 0x0000003d

    Was just renaming some drives...lol

I am using 1pc of xfx 9800gtx extreme on Antec 650W.
If I got a second xfx 9800gtx extreme, could anyone suggest the current PSU is enough for 2 SLI (+ overclocking)?
If not how much do I need to upgrade? (e.g. 850W)

Or eventually I should directly go for 1000W?

    Thanks for your opinion~

Don't think total wattage is an issue but it might be the amps and build quality of that psu...
I ran 780I with Qx9650@4.5 with 2 8800 GTS 512 OC'ed in SLI, WC setup and 2hd's with an Enermax 620 liberty... didn't sweat at all....
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

While overall wattage is to be included amps is more important. I had a 1000w Galaxy that flatout refused to boot this board, yet it worked fine on the old board. Now it was a first gen Galaxy so I think it had the bug but the way they did thier "5 rails" was to actually split 2 and left 1 alone.

On a side note anyone else have issues with RAID while overclocking? Just out of the blue my nvraid64 file got hosed after a windows update. So I did a restore and it ran fine for a bit, then BSOD(fast couldn't see the error) and now it sits on the load screen, the bar doesn't move at all.
