If AMD can switch to DDR2-800, then the scaling will probably be a lot better but most of the Barcelona class servers announced only go up to DDR2-667 except for Sun which supports DDR2-800

So then maybe DDR2 800MHZ should be possible? Have to test..

i had different type memory had to play with slot config
also im debating trying tri sli with 9800gtx since their soo cheap or 2 9800gx2 from ebay or wait for 4870x2

I tried setting the divisor on 800, 667 and 533...
533 -> no boot
667 -> working ok
800 -> Only a Linux based OS boots up (vista & XP crashes before loading)
The command rate setting is unavailable via bios, I have to se it via Overdrive....
But it changes nothing....

when i opened the barcy bios with amibcp the mem timings were there but hidden

Hi guys...
I've been away for long due to the university....
However I tried a lot of times overclocking these 2350s....
What are the results???? ....not good....
The same situation as some time ago.... nothing to do to breach the 230FSB....
I even tried to reflash the "old" 0.301 bios (like Kyosen) and changed the HT links from x3-x3-x1 to x3-x3-x3.... no way....
I tried registry voltage modification but nothing changed....
My system runs stable on 2.25GHz, but only under load ...
So the overclocking capabilities are only 12.5% for these B3 Opty 2350 form AMD..... And I can only say poor AMD.....
my memories are Reg PC2-6400, so i don't think that RAM is my problem...
I think that my run ends here.... sorry...
However any help is still appreciated....

hey try this

Overclocking through ntune makes bluescreen at about 230HTT no matter ram settings etc, just like yankee.

I assumed overclocking through bios didn't work because of no change to HTT in cpuz when I applied changes in bios.

However I did get bluescreens, so apparantly there were some changes done when ocing HTT in bios.

Therefore I oced HTT to 220 in bios, booted, and with no apparant changes to HTT I oc'd it to 250 no probs, benchable at stock vcore ( +0,03v "default" overvolting by board).
I think I have an old version of Clockgen lying around on a cd, will be testing that when I'm back from vacation (by then I will get my cpu#2 too), it seems the board (and cpu) can go further
