Eddie, also sorry if this is OT:
But is there ANY chance us DFI owners can hope and pray you make a Mosfet block like Mips? for our UT and LT series boards?

Eddy, what about the block for RAM on the back side of GTX 280? Will it be sold separately or will it be a new revision of complete GTX 280 WB with back-plate? Or have you desided not to produce the back-plate at all?
    Thanks.

Hi, the back rams will be cooled by aluminium backplate or later with water block which will be compatible with Ek-FC280 GTX blocks.

The water blocks for Radeons 4000 series will go to production on monday!

So as off right now we will have to use some RAM sinks to cool them? That really doesn't bother me to much especially if the block would interfere with my PCI sound card

Do you mean backplate which comes with stock heatsink? I have checked GTX 280 WB installation manual on your web-site and haven't found any information about backplate...
    Thanks.

With just the aluminum backplate does it fit the requirements for a Single PCI Slot?

Anyone have good guesses as to the amount of rad power needed to cool single and dual 4870/280's (260's in dual is more likely of course)

Seems to me a 360 might have a hard time keeping up

a 360 will do fine. unless u want to use heavily undervolted yates (or something) sli 280 or cf 4870 will put out around 300w it seemes. 280 slightly more than 4870.

Edit: With MCR320 and a 300w heatload u have 7.4k delta air<->water with yates @ 12v. Thats not bad at all.

Eddy - great to hear that the 4870 block is going into production!
how long do you think that it will take for it to become available at US shops such as petras?
and how much will it cost?

Well if a 4870X2 is 2x 4870's... you would probably need a triple rad for two 4870x2's alone besides the CPU and others huh? I wonder what would the delta be on that monster

EK GTX 280 block arrived today... will open it and put it on the card today (if my wife lets me lol)

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I'm begging. My new 4870 arrives today, and I'd hate to run the stock cooler after getting used to the WC setup I'm currently running. Its nice not hearing the 8800GTX fan running, and I'd like to carry this on to the 4870 if possible but I am impatient.

I think the stainless steel is AC's little trademark look lately.

And this is 'just an idea' as to what they want to do for SLI/crossfire connections. Pretty nifty i thought

Personally, I am going to wait for a EK, so i can put a fillport on one of the SLI connections.

my god that XConnect wb from AC, discovering it now on your pic: absolutely amazing. When does that get into production ?

thread here in German, reading now...
    http://www.aqua-computer-systeme.de/...278040;start=0

downside maybe, it's all delrin made...no copper, they say it would be too heavy...
OK this said I find the concept absolutely fantastic.
