Nice to see that you have a bunch of 7200, thus we Know what to expect as the average performance

The comparison between 6Mb x 3Mb will be very interesting also

These are very nice CPUs to bridge the large gap between the E4's and the E8's. They are looking very promising for their price. Also Intel will be releasing 1600 Mhz fsb CPUs soon.

AMD should be very very worried right now. I still cant believe that I paid over £300 for an Athlon X2 4400+ years ago, I should have just stuck to my overclocked 3000+ back then.

That is just incredible CRIMINAL! (Sigs in the frost - hehe )

Kudos for all your efforts and the sharing. I have learned more lurking here over the past 3 months. Great community.

Is there something in particular about the Commando that makes it perform so well with these Wolfdales? Is it the P965 chipset? I have been preparing for my second build and was considering going with an E8500 on a Rampage Formula board - but golly, it's tough not to like what can happen on a Commando mobo!

    Great posts!

not special on my Commando ,she can not run anything above 556FSB but for high FSB the P965 C2 (Commando and P5B DLX) owns Wolfys but you need to find the rite board hehehe.
for a new build use the latest hardware ,go Rampage

PcCI2iminal- Excellent work man, they're pretty awsome chips, especially if theyre just run of the mill and not hand picked.

Thank you for many runs. They look very appealing, especially as they will most likely be much cheeper than the e8x00 CPU's just trickling out in AUS atm.
